JAVA Developer (Insurance)

Specification / Skills / Experience


  • At least 8 years' experience working within a solution architect role for software or other IT company, ideally a J2EE based software
  • Strong Hands-on experience on both configuration and system integration aspects of life insurance product suite.
  • Technical expertise in Java/ Java2EE technologies, SOA, and experience in rollout of enterprise-wide technology projects is highly preferred.
  • Ability to act as technical expert ; Developing and/or reviewing end to end solutions of medium to high complexity
  • A strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux servers, J2EE application servers and database servers;
  • Strong presentation, inter-personal and communication skills; Good team player
  • Strong capability of analysis and quick learning;


Primary Skills (Must have)

  • Strong Knowledge of life insurance product suite both –
    • Configuration including Parameterised Product Definition, UI configuration, Rules engine driven automated processing and
    • System integration aspects of life insurance product with broad range of internal and external systems.

  • At least one end to end implementation life cycle experience of life insurance policy administration system
  • Technical expertise in Java/ Java2EE technologies, SOA, and experience in rollout of enterprise-wide technology projects is highly preferred.

This well known global insurance provider is looking for an Assistant Director of IT.

Job Description

Reporting to the regional CIO, you will assist in the planning and delivery of various initiatives at a regional and local level. In addition you will:

  • Support the formulation of Insurance IT strategies to address business objectives & longer-term IT sustainability
  • Act as Central ‘IT account manager’ role for designated countries
  • Build strong relationships with Country Heads of IT
  • Ensure the alignment of country IT strategies to the Regional IT strategies


The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you would have the following skills and experience:

  • 10 plus years of broad IT management leadership, including extensive experience within the insurance industry
  • 10 years of experience in a senior technical management position within a large corporate environment
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including the ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects punctually and within budget
  • Wide knowledge and experience with technology platforms including hands-on experience with regional technology management
  • Experience in leading and managing organizational change

The Accounting Supervisor of our Company will be in charge to assist the Accounting Manager in following activities but not limited to developing financial reporting process for internal and external use (auditor, institutions), coordinate and monitor financial budget and book keeping, coordinate with other division to ensure to comply Company's accounting & financial procedures.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to achieve the Accounting report and/or finance reporting and analysis target.
  • To manage Accounting teams under his area of responsibility
  • To manage, control and coordination with other department, inventory and reporting
  • Making monthly report & tax.

Requirements:
